Emanuel H. Glaubitz (my grandfather), born 12/8/1862 in Prussia. His father, Joseph, was from the House of Hapsburg or Hamburg. His middle name was either Herman or Henry. He was about 47 at his birth.
Tidbits: Emanuel also went by Fritz, "Hap" and even "Sally" at school because he had long, blonde hair.
Marriage: Emanuel married Louise Pauline Christine [Carolyn?] Klebe 5/4/1893 in Willow Springs, Missouri.
Since we have quite a bit of information for her and many photos, we will give her a blog title, Louise C. Klebe.
Children: Elsie, aka Ethel (Glaubitz) Bench 1895-1978. Married to Noel Bench, born 1896 and died in 1976.
Agusta, aka Gusta (Glaubitz) Paulsen.
Mary Magdelene (Glaubitz) Robb
Paul Henry, aka "Hap" 1900. Died in 1986 at his home. Married Gracie (?) in the early 1970's.
Herman John born 7/8/1903. Was married to Verba Hudson, in Hartville, (Wright County) Missouri May 22, 1940 and was divorced in 1943. They had no children. Herman died 8/30/1973 in a nursing home after a long illness due to a stroke.
Freda Dell (Glaubitz) Baker, born 12/1/1908. Died 2/22/2005 in Texas.
Fritz - no middle name - the youngest surviving child born 7/13/1913. He married Bulah Yates and was divorced in 2/15/1938 the same day their one one daughter, Wanda Louise, died 2/15/1938 in infancy. The baby is buried at White Oak Cematary. Fritz married Mary Francis (Williams) about 1941. Fritz died at his home 10/28/1971. Mary died 2002 at the same home.
All Emanuel and Louisa's children were born in Rogersville, Missouri.
Two children, Richard (in Emanuel's Family Photo sitting on Emanuel's lap crying) and Pauline (not pictured), died in infancy.
Death: Emanuel died 10/9/1935.
Louisa died in her home 9/4/1954 at the age of 86.
